Biography & Goals
Cameron Dunkin has managed and been involved in 25 World Champions in his Boxing Management career and has been with Nonito for 8 years. His proudest moment as a manager was watching a young and extremely hard working Nonito Donaire become a World Champion by beating Vic Darchinyan in 2007. Nonito was a big underdog going into the fight and the “boxing experts” and even his own promoter was saying that Nonito had no chance in the fight and that Vic Darchinyan was a great fighter and future Hall-of-Famer who would not only defend his World Championship against Nonito, but would do it by an early round knockout. When Cameron asked Nonito if he should make the fight, Nonito told him to do so without hesitation. Nonito also assured him not only would he win the fight, but that he would out box Darchinyan and then win it with a one punch knockout, a left hook. He said it quietly with no ego. Nonito was very humble, he just believed in himself and his talents. That fight and that statement would hold to be true and even earn Nonito the 2007 Knockout of the Year. Cameron feels, as a Professional Boxing Manager, Nonito is everything Cameron could ask for in a Professional Fighter. Cameron also manages Tim Bradley, Kelly Pavlik, Brandon Rios, and other boxers.
